Menlo Electric announces a 250 MW module tender, claims a “paradigm-shift” for PV distribution industry

Poland-based PV distributor Menlo Electric announced a 250 MW module tender for deliveries in 2022. Tender spans a broad range of module types, including black frame, bifacial and full black. The modules will be primarily offered to B2C and B2B installers across Central Europe, with shipping expected to Gdańsk, Poland as well as ports of Southern Europe in Slovenia and/or Romania.

Enel wins tender to develop 339 MW of solar capacity in Spain

Enel S.p.A. (“Enel”), acting through its Spanish subsidiary Endesa’s renewable company Enel Green Power España (“EGPE”), has been awarded 339 MW of solar power capacity in Spain. The award followed the tender held on the 26th of July  aiming at collecting 3,000 MW from renewable energies, that was launched by the Spanish Government to help the country achieve its target to cover 20% of energy consumption from renewables by 2020. The solar capacity adds to the 540 MW of wind power capacity that EGPE was already awarded last May.
