Montpelier, VT, April 2, 2020 – The nonprofit Clean Energy States Alliance (CESA) today launched the 100% Clean Energy Collaborative, a new initiative to provide critical information sharing and knowledge transfer among states that have established 100% clean energy goals for their electricity sectors. The rapid adoption of aggressive clean energy targets by states has been one of the most important energy and climate change policy developments of the past few years; 14 states plus the District of Columbia have now set such goals. The new Collaborative will create a forum for those states to cooperate on program development in order to speed progress towards achieving the states’ ambitious targets.
While solar development has boomed under Feed-in Tariff (FiT) support in Vietnam, there now needs to be equal investment into mature asset management processes and technologies in order to retain investor confidence in the emerging markets. SINGAPORE, 23 March 2020 – Total Solar Distributed Generation (DG) has partnered with Greenfields, the largest dairy company in Southeast Asia, to provide solar power for its biggest milk processing plant in Palaan, East Java, Indonesia.
Alectris, the global operations and maintenance (O&M) service provider for the solar industry, and MASE, the leading MENA solar operations and maintenance firm, have recently announced the successful completion of a three-year milestone project in Jordan, which saw both firms collaborate to deliver enhanced O&M and asset management services for an 11.5MW solar project.
Singapore – Total Solar Distributed Generation (DG) will provide agroindustrial company Betagro with solar-powered rooftops for 24 facilities across Thailand. The 25 MWp system will generate an estimated 38 GWh of renewable electricity per year, providing about 15% of the company’s total power consumption.
