ReneSola Power commercializes its first solar PV IPP project in Hungary
Fully-integrated solar project developer ReneSola Power announced that it has energized its first inaugural IPP project in Hungary.
Earlier this year, ReneSola Power announced its plans to enter the IPP business in Europe. This is the second IPP project after the acquisition in September of a 50 MWp fully operational solar farm located in Branston, Lincoln, in the United Kingdom from P&T Global Renewable Energy Ltd.
The project “Csomád 1-2” in Hungart consists of two PV plants with total installed capacity of 10.2 MWp, equivalent to powering approximately 4,000 households per day.
This fully operational solar farm, which entered the commercial operation stage in the beginning of October, 2022, is ReneSola’s first self-developed and self-constructed project.
Since ReneSola Power entered the Hungary market five years ago, it has commissioned 72 feed-in tariff (FIT) projects totaling about 42 MWs.
