Efigen announces it has signed an agreement with Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) in partnership with Bosk Capital for the development and sale of a 238 MW solar farm located in northern Colombia in an area of approximately 470 hectares.

The agreement completes the necessary paperwork and mandates the commencement of operations to ensure the farm is developed and connected to the Colombian national grid.

Speaking about the deal, Efigen Group CEO, Hassan Bahauddin, said:

“This accomplishment is yet another key moment in the Efigen and Bosk Capital partnership global growth strategy, primarily in the Colombian market, where we initially began operations nine years ago. It is a reaffirmation of our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.”

Luis Portilla, Managing partner at Bosk Capital stated:

“2022 is bringing new opportunities and projects to the partnership between Efigen and Bosk Capital. In Colombia, we successfully closed a substantial contract with PowerChina and are currently negotiating further numerous large-scale projects with global energy clients looking to enter the Colombian market, as well as developing the first of three large-scale projects in Pakistan.”

Efigen’s deal with PowerChina is one of the many deals the company has secured as it continues to contribute carbon reduction and infrastructure development in its key markets.
