Solaria to install 626 MW solar PV plant in Guadalajara, Spain
Spain-based solar PV developer and green power generation company, Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, S.A. (“Solaria”), announced it has obtained approval to install a 626 MW solar PV plant connected to a 400-kV substation located in Trillo, Guadalajara province, in the Spanish region of Castile-La Mancha, where Solaria acts as the power generation company or single node interlocutor.
Solaria stated that the 626MW Trillo solar PV complex will be one of the biggest in Europe and that it represents around 20% of the 3,325MW target Solaria has set for 2023.
To date, Solaria reports to have already secured more than 1,000 hectares of land required for the project.
