While solar development has boomed under Feed-in Tariff (FiT) support in Vietnam, there now needs to be equal investment into mature asset management processes and technologies in order to retain investor confidence in the emerging markets. This is according to Alectris, the global operations and maintenance (O&M) provider for the solar industry and developer of industry-leading renewable energy ERP software, ACTIS.
Alectris, the ACTIS ERP’s software provider and solar operations & maintenance and asset management company, announced it has signed a MOU with Artelia Vietnam, a multi-disciplinary consultancy, engineering and project management group, to jointly deliver operation and maintenance services (O&M) to solar assets throughout Vietnam.
The Dau Tieng solar PV power complex, the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia, was inaugurated on September 7 in the southern province of Tay Ninh, Vietnam.
Norwegian integrated independent solar power producer, Scatec Solar, announced that it has partnered with Vietnamese energy company MT Energy, to develop, finance, construct and operate large-scale solar projects in Vietnam. The strategic collaboration agreement covers three projects located in Binh Phuoc, Quang Tri, and Nghe An provinces. The projects total 485 MW and are targeted to be realised under a new feed-in tariff regime that is expected to be launched later this year.
