IMEC and PVcase to co-develop next-generation yield-simulation software for solar parks

World-leading research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technologies headquartered in Belgium, IMEC (Interuniversitair Micro-Electronica Centrum VZW), a member of EnergyVille, a collaboration between the Flemish research partners KU Leuven, VITO, IMEC and UHasselt in the field of sustainable energy and intelligent energy systems, together with PVcase, a Lithuanian software company disrupting the way solar parks are engineered globally, announced their partnership at the 36th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC), which took place on September 9 in Marseille (France), to develop a commercial software solution that allows to easily design and accurately predict the energy yield of state-of-the-art photovoltaic (PV) power plants.
