Dutch solar project developer Sunvest, B.V. and Triodos Renewables Europe Fund, which is managed by Triodos Investment Management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Triodos Bank, will jointly build two large solar parks in the municipality of Midden-Groningen. The solar parks are close to each other and together, with a total capacity of 112 MWp, they virtually form the largest solar park in the Netherlands.
Solar project developer based in the Netherlands, Chint Solar, which is part of the Chint Group that supplies solar panels throughout the world through its subsidiary Astronergy, announced that the environmental permit for the solar park Midden-Groningen in the Netherlands was approved by the Dutch Council of State on November 14, which allows for the construction to start in the beginning of 2019.

Hamburg-based solar and wind park operator Capital Stage announced on December 4 that it has for the first time acquired two solar parks in the Netherlands. The solar parks have a total generation capacity of 47.6 megawatts (MW) and are expected to be connected to the grid in October 2018.
The Nissan Motor Parts Center in Amsterdam announced this month that is it has begun the construction of the largest collective solar roof in the Netherlands. It consists of 8,911 panels, each able to generate 2.7 million kWh. Part of the project has been financed by crowdfunding via ZonnepanelenDelen [Solar Panel Bonds].
