The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, and the North American Development Bank (NADB) announced it will provide US$200 million in green loans to Infraestructura Energética Nova S.A.B. de C.V. (IEnova), to finance four solar power plants with a total capacity of 376 MW across Mexico.

French global energy and services group ENGIE signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) in Mexico to supply renewable energy to steel producer, Gerdau and a 16-year power purchase agreement with Santiago de Chile airport operator, Nuevo Pudahuel, to supply 100% certified renewable energy, under which ENGIE will supply the airport with 105 GWh per year of green electricity to meet all its power needs.
