Lightsource BP announced  it has partnered with Alabama Municipal Electric Authority (AMEA) to develop a 130 MW_DC / 100 MW_AC solar energy project in Montgomery County, Alabama. Lightsource BP will finance, develop, build, own, and operate the solar facility and will deliver energy to AMEA under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
