The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company (Phu Yen JSC) have signed a $186 million loan to develop and operate a 257 megawatt (MW) solar power plant in Hoa Hoi, Phu Yen Province, Vietnam, through the country’s first certified green loan.
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate $848 million (Rs. 5,681 crore) in funding to develop solar parks across India. The agreement was signed by Jonathan Addleton, Mission Director, USAID/India and M. Teresa Kho, Country Director, India Resident Mission, Asian Development Bank.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced last week that it is administering a $6 million loan from the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) to help Simpa Energy India Private Ltd expand its off-grid solar home system service to underserved markets in rural India.
