Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd (SLNG) and Total Solar Distributed Generation (DG) have signed an agreement for solar power to be implemented at the Singapore LNG Terminal on Jurong Island. Under the agreement, Total Solar DG will finance, build and operate a 600 kilowatts peak (kWp) rooftop solar power system, which will be installed on the rooftops of several buildings at the Terminal.

EDF Renewables North America today announced the signing of a 22-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Nevada utility NV Energy for a 200 megawatt (MWac) solar photovoltaic project coupled with a 180 MW, four-hour battery storage system. The Chuckwalla Solar+Storage project expects to come online by the end of 2023 and deliver enough clean electricity annually to power 45,000 average Nevada homes.

Monterey, California —Today’s Power, Inc. (TPI) announced earlier this week their partnership to build two solar arrays for General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS), a Florida-based aerospace and defense company, and two Battery Energy Storage Systems for Ouachita Electric Cooperative (OECC). The solar arrays, each totaling 1.2 MWdc, will be constructed near General Dynamics-OTS’ facilities in Hampton, Arkansas. RP Construction Services (RPCS) will serve as the mechanical installation partner supplying the racking for the solar portion of the project. The two battery energy storage systems will store electricity from the two solar facilities, and will have an output of 2.4 MW for two hours.
