Pennsylvania-based solar developer RER Energy Group celebrates 10 years in business
RER Energy Group, LLC “RER”, a leading turnkey solar provider founded in Pennsylvania announced it is celebrating 10 years in business dedicated to helping mid-sized commercial, industrial, municipal and non-profit organizations by designing, building and financing cost efficient and quality solar energy systems.
Today, RER Energy Group is a national leader in solar energy doing business in approximately 20 states and Mexico. As one of the few independent and self-funded firms of its size in the rapidly growing renewable marketplace, RER has achieved significant organic growth since its inception in 2009.
To date, RER Energy Group has developed more than 45 Megawatts (MW) of solar arrays for over 100 organizations and in 2016 RER completed Iowa’s largest community solar project. To fund these projects, RER has assisted clients in securing more than $30 million in State and Federal grants and incentives.
In 2018, RER Energy Group made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for the fourth year in a row and was named #1 Commercial Solar developer in the State of Pennsylvania, and one of Top 18 U.S. Commercial Solar Developers by Solar Power World.
RER currently has 30 core employees and affiliated contractors who work with a vetted group of subcontractors with whom RER has established business relationships, based upon geographical location and the nature of the project.
