Enphase Energy expands its presence in Europe
Global supplier of microinverter-based solar and battery systems, Enphase Energy, announced it has expanded Enphase product offerings in Europe through a partnership with Germany’s leading network of specialist companies for decentralized energy systems, Enerix.
Enerix will offer Enphase Energy Systems, powered by IQ Microinverters and IQ Batteries, to its network of more than 100 franchise partners across Germany and Austria.
Past year, as part of Enphase Energy intent to increase it presence in Europe, the company expanded its manufacturing capacity by partnering with Romania-based manufacturer Flex.
Starting in the first quarter of 2023, Flex’s factory in Timişoara, Romania will begin manufacturing Enphase microinverters for the European market, addressing the region’s rapid growth and demand for residential solar due to rising energy prices and the increased adoption of electric vehicles (EV) and heat pump technology.
Earlier this year, Enphase Energy also reported that installers of Enphase products in the Netherlands have seen an increase in deployments of residential solar energy systems powered by IQ8™ Microinverters, following the product’s expansion to France and the Netherlands markets in November 2022.
